How often are prices updated?+
We refresh prices from every connected store at least once an hour. Each offer shows a "last updated" stamp so you always know how fresh the price is. During major sale events (White Friday, Ramadan sales) we increase the refresh rate further.
Is Greedy.ae free to use?+
Yes — completely free, with no account required for browsing and comparing. Creating a free account only adds extras like a synced watchlist and price-drop alerts.
How does Greedy.ae make money?+
When you click "Go to store" and buy something, the store may pay us a small commission through its affiliate programme. This never affects the price you pay, and it never affects ranking: offers are always sorted by price, not by commission.
Which stores do you compare?+
We track 20+ trusted UAE retailers, including Amazon.ae, Noon, Sharaf DG, Carrefour, Jumbo Electronics, LuLu Hypermarket and Virgin Megastore. The list grows constantly — retailers can apply through our Advertise page.
How do I track a price?+
Tap the heart icon on any product to add it to your watchlist, then set a target price. We check prices hourly and notify you the moment a store drops below your target. You can see the 30-day price history on every product page.
Do I need an account?+
Not for browsing or comparing. A free account (Google sign-in) keeps your watchlist and alerts synced across your phone and laptop.
Why is the price on the store different from what you show?+
Prices can change between our hourly checks, and stores sometimes show personalised or app-only prices. The "updated X ago" stamp tells you when we last verified the price. If you spot a persistent mismatch, please report it via the Contact page.
How is the "CHEAPEST" offer determined?+
Purely by the lowest product price including VAT. Shipping cost is shown separately on each offer so you can judge the total yourself. Sponsored placements are always labelled and never affect the price ranking.
Do you sell products yourselves?+
No. Greedy.ae is a comparison engine only — every purchase happens on the retailer’s own website, under their prices, warranty and return policy.
Are prices shown with VAT?+
Yes. All prices are in UAE Dirhams (AED) and include 5% VAT, exactly as you would pay at checkout.
I run a store — how do I get listed?+
Head to the Advertise page and send us your details. We support standard product feeds (XML/CSV) and the major affiliate networks, and can usually onboard a store within a few days.
How do I report a wrong price or a bug?+
Use the Contact page or email [email protected] with the product link and a screenshot if possible. We investigate every report.
